The Air Pad is a structure employed by the GDF and Dynasty to supplement their air production facilities.

Background

GDF

The GDF are immensely proud of their air force and take great care to keep it in peak performance. As such, Air Pads are largely automated local refueling, restocking, and repair platforms capable of keeping air forces ready at a moment’s notice. In spite of recent technological advancements allowing some craft to be restocked remotely via automated factories or drone deliveries, the Air Pad remains a key piece of any GDF commander's air control strategy in the battlefield of 1997.

Dynasty

One of the many innovations the Dynasty have gladly copied from the GDF is the addition of automated repair and refueling services to their helipads, helping keep Dynasty air forces in peak condition to repel enemies from their airspace.

Game structure

Each Air Pad houses 1 air unit. It restocks the aircraft's ammo and repairs it to full health while it is docked.
