The Scrambler is a GDF stealth disruption vehicle in Tempest Rising.
Game unit
The Scrambler could be best described as GDF's "glass cannon"; though lightly armoured, it is a tier 3 unit that is fast and armed with long-range missiles which can attack both land and air targets.[1] The Scrambler maintains stealth when not moving nor attacking.[2]
The Scrambler can also deploy a Tempest-charged chaff to disable structures, deal area damage, and hinder enemy infantry.
Abilities
Tempest Chaff Deploys a Tempest-charged chaff to disable structures, deal area damage, and hinder enemy infantry.

Haywire Missiles (Rocket) Units attacked by the Scrambler become "silenced" (unable to use their abilities), and vision is revealed around the units for a brief duration.

Perks

Behind the scenes
- During development, the Scrambler had a model that appeared similar to the Shieldmaiden. It was redesigned since the developers wanted high-tier units to "look more impressive".[3]
