The Ignitor is the Dynasty's close-range support infantry in Tempest Rising.

Game unit

As its name suggests, the Ignitor is armed with a flamethrower which deals well against infantry and structures. The Ignitor's flames have a penetrating effect, which deals damage to infantry within garrisons (but not transports).

Any target caught in the cone of the Ignitor's flames will be set on fire and take damage over time. Even if the Trooper is no longer attacking said target, it will still be on fire for a brief moment.

An Ignitor is dispensed from a Pillager upon its destruction.

Thermobaric Grenade The Ignitor throws a small-yield thermobaric grenade.

Assault Garrison (Fire) Breaches garrisons (but not transports) dealing damage to infantry within.
