The Vehicle Bay is the GDF's land vehicle production building in Tempest Rising.

Background

The ever-shifting terrain in Tempest zones creates logistical difficulties in maintaining a mobile armour presence on the ground. GDF overcame these issues with the development of the rapid assembly technology also deployed in Construction Yards. The Vehicle Bay's mechanical construction line is able to assemble battle-ready vehicles from drone-lifted raw parts, eliminating the supply line's reliance on roads in even the most hostile areas.

Tier 1

Harvester Harvests Tempest and returns it to Refineries. Heavy vehicle that is immune to the negative effects of Tempest. Requires: GDF Refinery.

Sentinel Fast scout. Attacks air and ground targets. Can swap to Marking rounds. Marked enemies generate Intel when killed.

Hunter Tank Designed to take and deal out punishment. Has bonus range and damage against Marked targets.

Tier 2

Mobile Construction Vehicle Deploys into a Construction Yard. Requires: Repair Bay.

Comms Rig Combat support vehicle. Plants anti-vehicle minefields and may deploy to provide Comms in a large radius. Detects stealth. Requires: Satellite Uplink.

Riot Van Carries infantry and wields an anti-infantry cannon. Can deploy a suppression field to temporarily stun enemy infantry. Requires: Satellite Uplink with Riot Pod.

Shieldmaiden Defensive support unit. Laser deals high anti-air damage. Passively causes enemy missile weapon systems in a wide area to fire more slowly. Can dispense a temporary repair turret. Requires: Satellite Uplink with Specialist Pod.

Tier 3

Scrambler Hit and run combat disruption specialist good against vehicles and air units. Stealthed when immobile. May deploy Tempest chaff to disable enemy buildings and do area damage. Requires: Data Core.

Trebuchet Heavy tank. Deploys for considerable range increase with Tempest-charged shells. Requires: Data Core with Tempest Pod.
