The Specialist Bureau is a tech structure of the Tempest Dynasty that provides access to the basic specialists.

Background

Dynasty Special Operations actions tend to be coordinated out of Specialist Bureaus. These Bureaus, maintained by Dynasty Intelligence, have access to encrypted networks enabling authorization to call in black operations, assassinations, and other less savoury aspects of winning wars. In the field, modern Bureaus are outfitted with Sensor Arrays to assist with identifying and neutralizing threats to Dynasty military bases.

Near the frontlines, Dynasty Bureaus are outfitted with roof-mounted Sensor Arrays. These Arrays benefit from the robust power generation systems already in place in the Bureau, and provide broad ranging passive and active scanning systems that neutralize enemy stealth technologies. The Array can also emit directional fields of ionized Tempest particles, which can elicit Tempest Charge buildup on vehicles caught in the projection.

Game structure

The Specialist Bureau enables the deployment of the tier 2 specialists onto the battlefield: the Line Officer, Operative, and Machinist. The Bureau also allows the Call the Guard support power and the construction of Sensor Arrays.

The Bureau comes with its own Sensor Array for defense, which detects enemy stealth units and builds Tempest Charge on enemy vehicles thereby reducing their rate of fire and move speed.
