The Technician is a multipurpose utility infantry of the Tempest Dynasty in Tempest Rising.

Game unit

Though unarmed, Technicians can be used for multiple purposes:

• To capture enemy or neutral structures, which grants the capturing player full control of the structure. The Technician is consumed in the process.
• To repair bridges. The Technician is consumed in the process.
• To repair friendly vehicles and structures.
• To remove enemy mines.

Technicians can also lay a 3x3 field of invisible mines that detonate when enemy vehicles pass over them.

Abilities

Capture Capture target building, switching control of it over to you.

Lay Mines Place a 3x3 field of invisible land mines at the target location. Mines are triggered when vehicles pass over them, and can be disarmed by units like Engineers. Costs: 500 30.
