The Drone Control Unit (DCU) is a GDF drone carrier aircraft in Tempest Rising.
Game unit
The DCU is a tier 3 carrier aircraft that contributes a large swarm of Combat Drones to the field, effective at overwhelming the enemy and taking out targets of opportunity. It 
marks its attack targets and provides a 
Comms field to support local forces on the ground,[1] and can also detect enemy stealth.
With its internal factory, the DCU can automatically replace Combat Drones that have been destroyed.
The DCU requires the Drone Pod upgrade from the Data Core to be produced.
