Riot Trooper status with veterancy progression
Gaining a veterancy level improves a unit's performance on the battlefield by increasing their damage, health, or other stats. There are three levels of veterancy:[1]
- Hardened: the unit gains boosts to armor resistance and rate of fire.[2]
- Veteran: the unit gains an increase in damage-per-shot and sight range.
Tempest Charge expires faster on veteran vehicles.
- Elite: the unit gains additional health, auto-healing outside of combat, and further increase in damage-per-shot.[3]
Veterancy is earned based on damage dealt against enemy targets.[4] A unit must deal 1.5x of its own cost in damage to gain a level of veterancy. This same value applies for each level of veterancy and does not increase each time. Crushing an enemy unit counts as dealing damage.[5]
The Line Officer has the ability to commandeer a friendly vehicle which increases its veterancy level to maximum.[6]
